Guess what? You can no longer register your Ralphs Club card. You must sign up for Ralphs Rewards, and use *that* card. All local Ralphs stores have them available at all times. After you fill out the application at the store, you can register at www.ralphs.com then click on Community Contribution. SDCCS ID for Ralphs is 80503.
All participants who are currently enrolled in the Ralphs Community Contribution Program will remain active until August 31, 2008. All participants are required to register for the new term at www.ralphs.com that will be effective on September 1, 2008. All registrations at www.ralphs.com after August 4, 2008 will be effective for the new term that begins on September 1, 2008.
And remember - this registration has changed from a lifetime registration to one that must be renewed each year! We'll be sure to remind you at the beginning of next school year!

Laptop Lunches
Be part of the SDCCS drive to consume less and reuse more! We are having a sale of items from http://www.laptoplunches.com/. These sturdy lunchboxes and containers are compact and reusable. The outer container and inner containers are made of polypropylene and the lids are made of polyethylene. Both are recyclable but may not be collected at the curb in your area. These lunch containers are manufactured in California using plastics (polypropylene and polyethylene) that are FDA-approved for food use. The company does not use any binding agents or plasticizers in the process, nor do they use any materials that are suspected carcinogens or endocrine disrupters. Laptop Lunches have been thoroughly tested and are completely lead-free.
If you participate in this fundraiser, you will be getting a cheaper price than if you buy directly from the website, plus SDCCS will get a portion of the funds. All fundraiser pricing includes shipping and handling, as well as state tax. If you were to order the item above from the website, it will cost approximately $32. Through this fundraiser, the price is $22.56 and SDCCS will receive $5 of that amount. What a deal!
This fundraiser will run through September 30. Order forms will be available at the SDCCS website in the fundraising section. You can drop off your order forms in the office (see the envelope marked "Laptop Lunches" on the yellow bulletin board).
